In a bid to help the country move forward, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced their plan to build two new teams in Lucknow and Ahmedabad.
The BCCI is aiming to provide better infrastructure and more competition for the players in these regions. The organization believes that this will result in a better standard of play. The BCCI already operates 10 teams from across India, giving them an opportunity to compete at the international level.
IPL 2022 New Teams:
RPSG Group bought the Lucknow IPL team for Rs. 7,090 crores and The Ahmedabad Team was bought by CVC Capital Partners for Rs. 5,625 cr.
